The calendar tells me we have reached the middle of July. I can not believe how slow this month gets after the 4th. Oh well, here is some catch up with my picture of the day. Day 194 is me while walking Buddy. The June gloom is nothing but a memory now. Yesterday, Tanya and I decided to barbecue. She made one of her delicious Strawberry Pecan Salads. It looks like I am back home for July. Had planned on taking a ride up north but a broken lock on my bike’s tour pack eliminated that possibility as I do not feel like putting my livelihood at risk. Indiana Wrap Up

Today is my last day in Indiana, at least for a couple of months. So here is a wrap up of my last few pictures of the day. Day 186 shows the road I have been walking down when I need to stretch my legs. This is an easy way to lose weight, with their 95 degrees and 100% humidity. On Day 187, Tanya and I went to a new restaurant here in Valpo called the Industrial Revolution. From talking with our waitress I learned that this restaurant has been through several menu changes. The Life You Save

As you may know, I have done a lot of traveling around the states in the last couple of months. One thing that I have noticed in almost every state I have visited lately is that they are promoting motorcycle awareness. I have lost several friends and I have a permanent injury due to people not watching for motorcycles. Day 185 picture of the day is a reminder to please pay attention when driving.

We are only at the 4th Day of July, and already this month has been action packed. Let’s play a little catch-up on my picture of the day thus far. We took advantage of the situation and rode my new Limited out there. It was a very hot ride. The rest of the month was pretty much kept local. July is my favorite month of the year, due entirely to the 4th of July and my fondness for things that go boom in the night. I am looking forward to it. [adrotate group=”1″]

Made it home from Las Vegas in one piece. The ride out there gave us temperatures close to 120. The hottest it ever got on the way home was 92. Definitely a better ride, even when it dropped to 60. Anyway, here are my pictures of the day for the last three days. Day 160 is Tanya and me on the way to The Player’s Ball, which we co-sponsored. It featured rapper, Too Short.
