Day 140 of Project 365
Again. The last time I caught this fever it took a month to do anything about it. This morning, while taking Buddy for his morning stroll I discovered that a new bike shop opened up a couple blocks away from me. They sell used bikes, but that may just work for my scenario. Today’s Project 365 photo is of the possible new home for one of my bikes.
Tanya flew home today. She asked if we could go for a short ride before she had to get ready to leave. That is one reason I love her. Today’s Project 365 photo is Tanya and I on the Night Train.
Photos Of Our Third Day In South Dakota [adrotate group=”6″] Our Visit To Custer State Park, Sturgis and Spearfish Today, Tanya and I spent a few hours cruising around Custer State Park. Neither of us had been there before, and thanks to a spontaneous turn and the input of a park ranger that noticed our cameras, we ventured far into the park. It was a wonderful decision as the photos will show. We took another detour north to Sturgis and Spearfish, as I wanted to show Tanya what it was that drove me to ride. I was amazed at what …
South Dakota Photos [adrotate group=”6″] Sioux City To Wall, SD Great day! We are driving out of Sioux City and I [half] joked that we should find somewhere to dump Buddy for the day, and go rent a Harley. Of course I was not serious, but if it was thrown at me. . . Anyway, a hour down the road we spot a billboard for J&L Harley-Davidson in Sioux Falls. We decided to stop there to pick up a couple t-shirts. As it turns out, they were giving demo rides of the 2010 models. Next thing I knew, I had …
Got an early start this morning on our way to the Badlands. As we approached I-90 we saw a sign for J&L Harley-Davidson in Sioux Falls, SD. We decided to stop by and pick up a couple t-shirts. To my surprise they were giving free demo rides of the new Harleys. I inquired and the next group was heading out in 15 minutes. I was on it like white on rice. Today’s photo is me riding on a 2010 Harley-Davidson Limited. Great bike and a great way to start the day.
Day 94 of my daily photo journal, known as Project 365. Today was spent primarily in the garage as we worked on my son’s bike, replacing his wheels with the ones I gave him for his birthday tomorrow. At one point, Buddy was nowhere to be found. Turns out he had decided to help himself to the trunk of my car. He has never been in there before, and I certainly never offered it to him. Judging by the look on his face, he has a new place to hang out while I am taking photos on our upcoming journey. …
Ride to Tom’s Farm [adrotate group=”6″] Corona and Lake Elsinore Spring is here. Who says we do not have all four seasons here? It was a beautiful day, and a Sunday, so that meant it was time to meet my son for our weekly ride. This week we rode out to Tom’s Farm in Corona. Never been there before, but it seems to be a pretty popular hangout for bikers on Sundays. Daniel, Edson and I took a little ride over to Lake Elsinore to take a couple pictures since the first time Daniel and I tried a picture by …
Day 80 of my daily photo log, otherwise known as Project 365. It is Sunday, which means it is time for my Sunday ride. Here, my Night Train sits patiently waiting for the first ride of the spring season. Thank heaven, as you know how bitter the winters are here.
