Some things are meant to be. On Saturday, I told my friend Phil to make sure he was free on December 12, as the 7th Annual David Mann Chopperfest was coming up. It is up in Ventura, and is a nice ride from here. Besides, I need to hunt down some vintage Harleys and we have a mutual friend that will be coming down from up north, so there are several reasons to attend. Wednesday morning, I received an email from a motorcycle enthusiasts forum called MotoZania.com that I am a member of. They were having a contest in which they were giving away passes to Chopperfest. Since all it took to win was to submit a photo of some David Mann art that was hanging around the house, this was a pretty easy contest to win.
