It is the 73rd day of Project365 2011 and the 14th day of March, or 3.14. Pi. Get it? I never heard of today being called Pi Day before, so I guess Facebook taught me something. My photo of the day is of me getting my daily radiation fix.
I think I was doing pretty good about keeping this years Project365 current, but I got sidetracked. My girlfriend, Tanya, came into town; then we had to do all our tax stuff and we had to make plans for the year. As a result, I got delayed and now I am going to play catch-up again. Day 67 was a warm and sunny morning. Tanya is going to love the weather when she gets here tonight. I also discovered that the Charger makes a pretty nice canvas. Wednesday is beautiful. It is Monday, the 7th day of March and the 66th day of Project365 2011. There is nothing particularly special about today, other than it is the day before Tanya gets here. Oh, and I need to make sure I have all my tax paperwork together. My photo of the day shows a window can make a decent canvas.
Sometimes I can get kind of lazy. This is especially true when it comes to taking pictures for Project365. I usually try to get it out of the way by taking a photo in the morning on my walk, and then if something better comes up later in the day, I will use that photo instead. Today was not one of those days. Day 65 of Project365 2011.
When I was younger, I seemed to be a lot more meticulous about cleaning my bike. It may have had something to do with the fact that I only owned one at time, or else because I had an actual 8 hour a day job. Today, I would rather ride than wash. My picture of the day for day 64 of Project365 is a pic of me with my ’86 and 2010 Harleys.
Last month, doing Project365 was a little difficult due to my shadow theme and a lack of sunlight. This month, the problem seems to be a lack of clean windows to bounce my photo from. My picture of the day for day 63 of Project365 shows me at the back of a soccer mom’s bus.
What can I say? I did not do it, no one saw me do it and no one can prove I did it. My picture of the day for day 62 of Project365 2011 is proof that I was framed.
I have a feeling this will be an interesting month. Since I take my photo of the day while walking (usually), I never really know how the pic will turn out. My photo for day 61 of Project365 is a perfect example of that. I had to look at it twice to figure out what happened. No matter, I like it.
I was thinking back to the days when I had to do manual labor and worked outside in the elements. The beginning of March was always very windy and it made it difficult to climb up telephone poles or to manipulate a 32’ extended ladder. “In like a lion, out like a lamb,” was a popular saying. Today was not very lion-like, so my picture for the 60th day of Project365 is of me, looking more like a lion than March was acting.
Another month has passed us by. This year is going by pretty quickly. February included a couple of journeys up to Yosemite National Park. Tanya and I spent our first Valentine’s Day together, so that was cool. I have to admit, my shadow theme for this month was not a great idea. I probably should have saved that one for August.
