Grand Junction to Denver Pictures

Photos From I-70 In Colorado The ride from Grand Junction to Denver, CO Wednesday morning, I continued my ride to the 70th Annual Black Hills Rally and Races from Grand Junction, CO. I was doing well on the amount of miles traveled per day, so I was able to stop a little more frequently and enjoy the Colorado beauty found along I-70. This included going through the Eisenhower Tunnel, which is over 11,000 feet in elevation. This resulted in the temperatures dropping to the high 70’s and low 80’s. After spending the last few days in the high 90’s and …

The Road To Sturgis

Photos From Day One of the Ride To Sturgis [adrotate group=”6″] Torrance, CA to Grand Junction, CO 2010 was the 70th Annual Black Hills Rally & Races in Sturgis, S.D. The last time I went was in 2006 and I swore I would never return due to the amount of people that were now attending. If they all came on motorcycles instead of dragging them along on trailers it would not be so bad, but Sturgis just was not built for one million people. Since I got a new bike, and the price of gas went up, I figured it …

The Road to Psycho Donuts

Photos From Psycho Donuts [adrotate group=”6″] Campbell, CA, I learned about Psycho Donuts, in Campbell, CA via their Facebook page. A quick look at their specialty donuts convinced me that I needed to take a drive up there and sample their goods. This past weekend Tanya, Buddy and I made the journey. We had a good time and met some nice people along the way. [adrotate group=”1″]

Photos From VidCon 2010

Photos From Day Two of VidCon 2010 [adrotate group=”6″] VidCon 2010, Los Angeles We headed back to the Hyatt Regency for Day Two of VidCon. One might ask why, and the answer is simple. Tanya wanted to go. I really expected to go there and find a wealth of information, but sadly that was not to be. I spoke with a company or two that were displaying there and I got the impression that most of the attendees could never afford their products. I guess if they ever grow into a “must attend” show for video marketers I can say …

VidCon 2010 Day One Photos

VidCon 2010, Los Angeles [adrotate group=”6″] Photos From Day One Went to Los Angeles today to attend an Internet marketing event called VidCon. They specialize in video marketing. I am not sure what I expected, but I am pretty sure this was not it. It seemed like the average age was about 15. Although I do utilize YouTube to display my videos, I would not call myself a YouTuber. They would, with pride. I will say, they were a very energetic bunch. It was a lot like school days when the recess bell would ring. But, I will go back …

The 4th of July Indiana Style

Independence Day, 2010 [adrotate group=”6″] Got Web Host 4th Annual Independence Day Party Some kids never grow up, and when it comes to fireworks, I am a big kid. For the fourth consecutive year my girlfriend has thrown her Got Web Host barbecue and fireworks show, with me being responsible for the pyrotechnics. Here are a few photos from this year’s party. I would like to thank Phantom Fireworks for providing me with enough explosives to blow up a small neighborhood. In all the time I have been buying from Phantom, this is the first time I have ever gotten …

Photos From Sequoia National Park

Ride to Sequoia National Park [adrotate group=”6″] Southern Sierra Nevada Mountains Since it is Memorial Day weekend, I decided to take an extended Sunday ride this week. I loaded up the Limited with my Canon and laptop and headed back to the Sierra Nevada Mountains. I initially intended to head up the 395, but since I was there a couple of weeks ago, I decided to veer to the west side of the Sierra Nevada mountains and go to Sequoia National Park instead. I need more time there, so I will return again with Geek Good Girl. Enjoy the photos. …

Photos From the Virgin River Gorge

Virgin River Gorge Photos [adrotate group=”6″] Northwest Arizona I have frequently driven up I-15 through the Virgin River Gorge, and it is always breathtaking. Most of the time I have been on a motorcycle and when the canyon walls begin to tower over you it is majestic. I have never been able to stop and take photos primarily because all the cool turnoffs seem to be just around the bend, and I never really felt comfortable slamming on the brakes to stop at one. This time I had a definite plan so I adjusted my speed accordingly. I read that …

Photos of Littlefield Cemetery in Arizona

Littlefield Cemetery [adrotate group=”6″] Photos from Littlefield, AZ When you travel north on Interstate 15 out of Nevada, you cut through a small slice of Arizona before you hit Utah. Although this slice of AZ is very thin, it really does have some remarkable scenery. Tanya and I both enjoy visiting old cemeteries, so when we spotted this gem outside of Littlefield, we did not hesitate to pull off to investigate. As you can see, it was worth the stop. Sunday ride to Stone Brewing Company

Ride to Stone Brewing Company [adrotate group=”6″] The Family That Plays Together Stays Together It seems like it has been a long time since I did a Sunday ride, so yesterday, I did something about it. My buddy, Phil, and I rode down to my son’s house and met up for a ride down to Escondido to the Stone Brewing Company. It was a great ride and Stone Brewing Company provides some great beer. Their food is not bad either. Someday I will have to take Tanya there. Enjoy the photos. [adrotate group=”1″]
