Day 5 of 365

Well, Buddy decided to cooperate today, so he gets in today’s pic with me. Can you believe I got a dog that hates getting his picture taken? He was trying to eat the camera when I got this shot.

Desert Skies

Desert Skies [adrotate group=”6″] LA to Vegas I am a Native Californian, 5th generation, and proud of it. Why? Because this state has some of the most beautiful scenery anywhere. One of the most overlooked places in my opinion, is the Mojave Desert. These pictures were taken on February day on the way to Las Vegas. I love that drive, but this day had skies that were amazing. Just wish I had a better camera at the time.   [adrotate group=”1″]

Walkers Cafe at Pt Fermin

Sunday Ride [adrotate group=”6″] LA Harbor, Walker’s Cafe and Pt Fermin This was my Sunday ride on December 27. I stopped by the LA Harbor but they were not very camera friendly due to 9/11. I guess the terrorists win since I can’t take advantage of the cool shots that should be available. After I got kicked out of there I headed over to Walker’s Cafe on Pt Fermin. It is a popular gathering spot for bikers and offers some nice coastal views.   [adrotate group=”1″]

For being January 3, you could not ask for a nicer day.It was so nice that we did not want to go home after having lunch at Neptune’s Net, so we stopped by the …

Got the helmet cam adjusted

I was given a very nice hi-def helmet cam for my last birthday, but as I feared, it fell off while I was riding. I lucked out in that I had just gotten off the freeway after doing 100 miles of 70+ MPH. It fell into my lap when taking off from a stop. Needless to say, I became paranoid about using it because the kit they provide for attaching it, pretty much sucked. It turns out attaching a flat surface to a rounded surface would need more than a band-aid to hold it on. Of course their demo had …
