There are probably not many people that have influenced the motorcycle building community as much as David Mann. Even if you do not build motorcycles, his artwork definitely portrayed common experiences of Harley riders back in the day. The man was a living legend. Shortly after his death in 2004, the David Mann Chopperfest was conceived. Yesterday was the 7th Annual David Mann Chopperfest.
The festival, held in Ventura, CA, is a combination bike show and motorcycle swap meet, with music, food, drink, vendors, art displays and lots of motorcycles. This was my second time attending. The weather was beautiful and I can not think of a much better way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Many thanks to MotoZania.com for the free passes. It was appreciated.
