Monday we woke up to a windy morning in Flagstaff, AZ. After a quick breakfast and finding the local Starbucks, we hit the road. My uncle had stated a desire to visit Roswell, NM, so I headed gradually south as we went east. Along the way, we came across the Walnut Canyon National Monument Cliff Dwellings. My girlfriend and I have seen cliff dwellings in a few places, including Mesa Verde in Colorado, but these were cool in that you could easily walk down to some of them and check them out, up close.
