Yes, you may have heard that the Lakers beat the Celtics in game 7 of the NBA championship series. As a native Californian I have grown up realizing that with LA teams, it really is not over until it is over. As far as I am concerned, this game was not secured until Sasha Vujacic stepped up to sink two free throws with only 11.7 seconds to play. I have to admit, I am a little disappointed. Day 166 of my picture a day and a nice day it was. Buddy and I decided to spend a little time outside and enjoy watching the world as it passed by. Apparently, Buddy saw something that looked delicious to him.
Sent my girlfriend back home yesterday, so I guess it is time to get back into my regular routine. My picture of the day for Day 164 is Buddy and I relaxing before we get back to work. Today’s picture of the day shows some interesting marketing. Judging by the sign, they tried to rent the house for $800 a month if you got a one year lease. Apparently, then did not work so they raised the rent to $1,750 a month. House remains vacant. Surprised?
When Tanya comes to visit, I try to mix it up with the places we eat. Some places I have introduced her to have become regular stops when she is in town. Made it home from Las Vegas in one piece. The ride out there gave us temperatures close to 120. The hottest it ever got on the way home was 92. Definitely a better ride, even when it dropped to 60. Tuesday is election day. These elections are important. All elections are when you get down to it. Anyway, get out and vote. I will not be home, so my picture of the day is of my absentee ballot just before I took it to the post office.
It has been two weeks now since I got the new Limited. She has her 1,000 plus miles in, new fluids and her first bath. I do believe she is ready for a ride to Las Vegas, or anywhere else I want to take her. We will start with Vegas though. Picture of the day, number 155.
