Our first full day in Amsterdam was on Saturday. We were there for the second of two trade shows. I really did not expect much from this show because I expected many attendees were going to be people I already talked to in Spain. It turned out I was quite wrong. I could have left Saturday evening and the trip would have been worth while. Saturday evening we went to dinner with a group of friends to dinner at Hosokawa, a Japanese steakhouse and sushi bar. The dinner lasted about 4.5 hours but time flew with the friends and entertainment. My photo of the day for Day 268 is of our dinner being prepared.
Sunday was a pretty nice day. I do not recall it raining, and the show had enough going on to keep it interesting. My day 269 picture of the day is of Tanya and I outside the Art Gallery Hotel.
Monday came as a mixed blessing. While I would have liked to have spent more time in Amsterdam, I was ready to get home. I am pretty sure Tanya was ready as well. It was an extremely long day that was crammed together by crossing eight or nine time zones. My photo of the day for day 270 is on Tanya and I aboard KLM flight 611 to Chicago ORD.
