My 2006 Night Train with Heartland mods
I have noticed several customized Night Train’s on YouTube, so here is my video response to them. This 2006 Night Train was rolled from the local Harley-Davidson dealer to the Heartland facility where they proceeded to add a lowering kit, new fenders, wheels, exhaust, mirrors, lamps, lower legs and much more. Essentially, they used this bike to take to different dealerships to show them how easy it is to add their parts. I scored it when they had to upgrade for the newer models. I have to admit, this is now my favorite bike to ride for anything under 300 miles.
Neptune’s Net at County Line
Riding across the County Line we arrive at Neptune’s Net. Sunday is a nice day for it if you like looking at other bikes. Any other day of the week is a good day for it because it is a nice ride. They serve a nice burger and have a wide assortment of very cold beer. I posted some pictures of the bikes and other views, if interested.
Night Train vs Fat Boy
My son, Daniel was riding along side of me as we hit an open stretch of PCH. He had to at least try. He opened it up a little so I followed suit. baddog can’t let his pup take over just yet.
Winter Sunsets
Winter Sunsets [adrotate group=”6″] Looking over the Palos Verdes Peninsula Every once in a while I fire up one of the bikes around sunset and head up to the hills. Rolling Hills, on the Palos Verdes Peninsula to be precise. The sunsets we get are pretty spectacular as you can see. [adrotate group=”1″]
Blasting thru the Malibu
As we continue up PCH through Malibu we again get close to the water for a great view and warm breezes. Have I mentioned I love Southern California?
Cruising thru Malibu
Continuing up PCH we enter Malibu and meet up with some more bikes.
Sunday on the Pacific Coast Highway

Walkers Cafe at Pt Fermin
Sunday Ride [adrotate group=”6″] LA Harbor, Walker’s Cafe and Pt Fermin This was my Sunday ride on December 27. I stopped by the LA Harbor but they were not very camera friendly due to 9/11. I guess the terrorists win since I can’t take advantage of the cool shots that should be available. After I got kicked out of there I headed over to Walker’s Cafe on Pt Fermin. It is a popular gathering spot for bikers and offers some nice coastal views. [adrotate group=”1″]
