When I think about it, the concept of cheesy Christmas sweaters always seemed to be set against the backdrop of a 60’s or 70’s sitcom; or perhaps a Family Circle cartoon in the Sunday funnies, I did not really give any thought to the fact that this might be a real thing. Well, I have had my eyes opened. Saturday, Tanya and I joined some friends at their 3rd Annual Cheesy Christmas Sweater Party. Since I do not think I have really noticed a cheesy sweater before, I was not entirely sure what to expect in the way of cheesy Christmas sweaters. I will not have that problem anymore, the guests that attended and participated by wearing cheesy Christmas sweaters have burnt “cheesy” into my memory for life.
In addition to the cheesy sweaters there was fun people, good food and really good beer. Our host mixed up a batch of some amazing eggnog, so all of our bases were covered for a very fun Christmas party.
