I had the opportunity to see Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band at Staples Center last night. It was a great concert. I have been a Bob Seger fan since Ramblin Gamblin Man, which was around 1969. I have seen close to 100 live acts, but for some reason I never made it to a Seger concert. To say that I was looking forward to last night would be an understatement.
The song I was looking forward to hearing performed live was Turn the Page. He waited until almost the end to play it, so I was getting a little anxious when he started playing songs by Little Richard and Tina Turner. However, he played the songs I wanted to hear and came back for two encores, so it was a great night as far as I was concerned.
