Ah, it is that time of year again when the California Gray Whale heads to Mexico for the same reason the rest of us go there. Mating. Anyway, a popular pastime this time of year is to go whale watching. You can pay to go on a boat, but there are no guarantees. We are actually 50-50 when using a boat, but we had to go to Hawaii to have any luck. Sometimes that is just not feasible. The easiest way is to go to the beach and watch them there. Sort This Out
Every weekend I am home, I try to take a motorcycle ride to somewhere cool. When my son joins me, we frequently end up at a winery or brewery. Many of these locations not only have a nice variety of beverages, but have very good food to go along with it. A couple weeks ago, we headed up to Solvang and discovered Sort This Out Cellars. A Gift From My Honey
Buddy began barking, so I took a peek out the front screen. A little mail carrier was walking up the drive with a box almost as big as she was. I knew it was a Valentine’s Day gift from my girlfriend, but I had obviously guessed incorrectly as to what it might be. I mean, this box was 3’x3’x3’. What could it be? Guess there will be no excuses for not remembering to update. Day 48 of Project 365.
Rolling Through Rolling Hills
It is Valentine’s Day, and in the mid to high 70’s. Sounds like a perfect day for a ride. It was. Took the Night Train up to Rolling Hills and headed for the cliffs. This video is taken along Crest Road and filmed with my Contour HD helmet cam. If I can not be with my baby, this is the next best thing.
