The month of November has been designated by The Movember Foundation as the month for raising funds for and awareness of men’s health issues, specifically prostate and testicular cancer. As part of the month-long campaign, men around the world are being encouraged to grow a moustache for the month. As you know, I already had a beard and moustache (for 39 years), but I wanted to participate. After talking to a couple friends, I decided to set up a Movember account then announce on Facebook, a few of my sites and some industry forums that when I had $1,000 in donations I would completely shave off my existing beard and moustache.

45 hours later the money was raised. This video is of the removal of my beard and moustache. This is the first time I have not had facial hair since 1971!
