After our morning motorcycle ride, Tanya and I headed home to prepare to go to my dad’s for Christmas dinner. Tanya fixed her famous strawberry-pecan summer salad and I picked up a few bottles of wine from my Sort This Out Cellars stash. We then packed the car, loaded up the dogs and headed to my dad’s. Another visit to Solvang

Last year, I introduced Tanya to Solvang, CA. Solvang is known as Denmark west due to its large Danish population. It is a quaint little town in the Santa Ynez Valley. It is a very nice ride or drive, either by car or motorcycle. Besides lots of touristy things, it is the home of my favorite winery, Sort This Out Cellars [STOC]. I am a pretty good cook. I am very good when it comes to grilling on the barbecue. Unfortunately, I do not really enjoy cooking for myself, so I do not do it very often. Viva Las Vegas – Sort This Out Cellars

I was just heading out the door when the UPS man walked up the drive holding a large brown box. I knew immediately what he was bringing me. While I was out of town, Sort This Out Cellars had a special deal offered on their Facebook page. I have learned to take advantage of any discounts they offer as their wine is top notch at reasonable prices. Today is Day 133 of Project 365 and today’s photo features my latest additions to my wine collection.

Every weekend I am home, I try to take a motorcycle ride to somewhere cool. When my son joins me, we frequently end up at a winery or brewery.
