Sandrini’s Italian Restaurant
Sunday was a very long day. Even though we started off in Ripon, making all the stops we made turned a four hour drive into a 10 hour drive. We ended up in Bakersfield around 7:00 or 8:00 PM and we were hungry. Every restaurant that Tanya found on her Android was closed or no longer existed. Then we found Sandrinis.
When we first arrived we were informed that all they had available was “bar food.” I guess the guy could tell this was not what I wanted to hear and he quickly advised me that he was pretty sure they could put something together for us. All I can say is that if this is what they were able to throw together, I need to come back during normal restaurant hours. If you go there, be sure to try their Sausage bread. It is even better the next day.
