These photos are from our weekly Business & Beer gathering, which was held last night at Sophie’s Place in the Riviera Village section of Redondo Beach. Sophie’s Place is a family run gastropub, run by three brothers, and it is one place that always makes us feel like family; whether we come in as a group or by ourselves. Besides having a very nice beer list, with eight beers available on rotating taps and about 50 varieties available in bottles, they have a great food menu. Last night, Tanya and I tried a Yeti Float which is made with vanilla bean ice cream and chocolate syrup, and topped with a Yeti Imperial Stout from Great Divide Brewing Company. It was pretty good, although I think next time we will get the chocolate on the side so Tanya can have her chocolate and I can taste the beer.
If you live or work in the South Bay area and find networking to be a valuable asset to your business; and you enjoy American craft beer, you should consider joining us sometime for Business & Beer. We meet every Thursday at a different microbrewery, brewpub or gastropub in the South Bay area. The schedule is found on the front page of BusinessNBeer.com. Good people, good beer and good food make for a winning combination. How can you go wrong? I hope to see you there sometime.
