Wednesday evening, The Beach Reporter crowned Ortega 120 in Redondo Beach as their October 2012, Restaurant of the Month. I discovered Ortega 120 in 2009 when I saw them on a local news station on Cinco de Mayo. What caught my interest was that the “120” in the name referred to the number of tequilas they served. I immediately knew that was where I had to spend that Cinco de Mayo.
